Digital Design
Programme
Digital Design studies approach the design and production of interactive online services from a variety of perspectives. Web technologies, social media concepts and services, information architecture and interactive functions are the key elements of the training.
The students can find employment in many digital environment positions relating to online service design, production or project management. Actual jobs in the working life may have to do with the development of technical solutions and online services of social media services, planning of interactive functions or digital media concepts and structural planning. Possible job positions may be at design or communication agencies, companies’ communications departments, as well as IT companies or the advertising business.
Courses
Tuition in the Media degree programmes is in Finnish, but a few courses will be taught in English in the spring semester, for the benefit of exchange students.
